Reviews:
A Message To You seems to know their business… This 7″ is their second release and it‘s excellent! I keep on wondering where they have found these bands, as there first one, a minicd by The Crooked Beat was great too. So.. The Repeaters consists of seven young and skilful musicians and this is their first official record. There‘s four songs on this EP, which all are good, styles varying from rocksteadyish 2 tone ska to jazzy 60s ska. Ivé admit that Ivé always hated Swedish skabands (well who likes Liberator or Skalatones?), but these two AMTY-bands kick some serious ass! With this release A Message To You proves that they are the best skalabel in Sweden. (Banana Nr3)

There seem to be so many really promising new 60s style ska bands popping up across Europe these days. Another well worthy of your attention is The Repeaters, who hail from Vasteras in Sweden. This young seven-piece troupe has just had their debut 7″ vinyl single put out by AMTY Records. Titled District 723 35, this wicked four song EP contains some very slick jazzy trad ska that reminds me of N.Y. Ska Jazz and Ventilators. (Do The Dog Nr 20)
